Cleaning
How much does tile and grout cleaning cost?+
Tile and grout cleaning starts from $9/m². The final cost depends on the size and condition of the area and the work required.
Can you remove mould?+
Professional cleaning can reduce surface mould and staining. Where grout is damaged or mould has penetrated deeply, regrouting or another restoration solution may be more appropriate.
Can you clean very dirty grout?+
Yes. Professional cleaning is designed to address accumulated dirt and grime that ordinary mopping may not remove.
Can I walk on the floor after cleaning?+
Once the cleaning and extraction process has been completed, tiled floors can generally be used, subject to any specific instructions provided for your particular service.
Regrouting
When does grout need to be replaced?+
Cracking, crumbling, missing grout, deterioration and persistent problems in wet areas may indicate that regrouting is required.
Do you use epoxy grout?+
Epoxy grout is available as an option for suitable applications. It is not automatically used for every regrouting job.
Do you remove the old grout?+
Where regrouting is required, the existing grout is prepared and removed as necessary before new grout is installed.
Recolouring
Can you recolour existing grout?+
Yes, where the existing grout is structurally suitable.
Is recolouring the same as regrouting?+
No. Recolouring changes the appearance of suitable existing grout. Regrouting involves removing damaged grout and replacing it.
Sealing
Should grout be sealed after cleaning?+
Sealing can be beneficial for suitable surfaces because it can help reduce staining and moisture absorption.
Can you seal after regrouting?+
Yes, where the new grout and surface are suitable for sealing.
